Dead Sea Scrolls

Among the Scrolls are partial or complete copies of every book in the Hebrew Bible (except the book of Esther). About a dozen partial copies of some of these holy books are in ancient Paleo-Hebrew. The most extensive Biblical text in Paleo-Hebrew is the Paleo-Hebrew Leviticus scroll. During and after the Babylonian captivity, Aramaic script became the standard Hebrew script. The premier scroll is "The Great Isaiah Scroll".
